The launch, which took place in Bengaluru on November 27, 2024, marks a significant milestone for Honda as it ventures into the booming electric mobility sector in India. With bookings starting from January 1, 2025, and deliveries commencing in February 2025, the new scooters are set to redefine urban commuting.

The Activa e: stands out with its swappable battery technology, offering unmatched convenience to riders.

Battery & Range: Each scooter is equipped with two 1.5 kWh batteries that deliver a tested range of 102 km per charge.
Swapping Made Easy: Batteries can be exchanged at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger stations, currently operational in Bengaluru and Delhi, with plans to expand to Mumbai.
Performance: The Activa e: features an electric motor with a peak power of 6 kW and 22 Nm torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds. The top speed is capped at 80 km/h.
Smart Connectivity: It comes with a 7-inch digital screen integrated with Honda’s RoadSync Duo® app, enabling real-time navigation and updates.

QC1: Compact and Convenient

The QC1 is designed for users who prioritize simplicity and compactness.

Battery & Range: This model houses a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 80 km per charge.
Charging: The battery can be charged at home using an off-board charger, achieving 80% charge in 4.5 hours and a full charge in 6.5 hours.
Performance: The scooter offers a top speed of 50 km/h, with two riding modes to balance performance and efficiency.
Features: It includes a 5-inch LCD display for essential information and a USB Type-C port for charging mobile devices.

Availability and Manufacturing

Initially, the Activa e: and QC1 will be available in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. Honda plans to expand its reach based on demand and infrastructure development.

Both scooters will be manufactured at Honda’s Narsapura facility near Bengaluru, underscoring the company’s commitment to local production.
